The studio and classroom have been super busy! At Open Studios, on Mondays, we are making quilts to raffle/auction/sell for the victims of Hurricane Joaquin in the southern Bahamas. In the first session we got enough blocks for the first quilt, plus a few blocks are still out being sewn! Many hands really do make light work.
This Monday we will get together and start the second one which will be a fun and funky pattern with baskets on it.
Along with that, dyeing classes and holiday classes are going on, and the Block of the Monthers are almost finished their Christmas quilts! They followed a pattern, that I designed, doing one block per month. I made mine will all my hand dyed fabric. I cant wait to get pictures of all the class quilts. They are all the same, yet so different at the same time.
Classes wrap up on November 10th until January 2016. Below are a few events you may want to put on your calendar to get some Christmas shopping done!
