Since November 2013 I have been back at teaching quilting & silk painting classes, pretty much full-time, after a 10 year hiatus. Some weeks up to 5 days, depending on how many private classes I had on top of scheduled classes.
The last class, until September was about 2 weeks ago. I am taking the summer off to plan my teaching and show schedule for Fall 2014, design new projects, make samples, create lesson plans, paint the classroom etc…
I would like to say HUGE THANK YOU to all my *students*. I truly LOVE teaching and over the last 7 months you have helped me live my passion. Thank you for supporting my classes and making classes so much fun!
This was a class called “Black, Whites and Brights Placemats”. At a local art show one of my classes displayed the placemats they had made in the class. I was a pretty proud teacher. Their placemats were beautiful and made an awesome display.
Below is a write up of one of my classes which was hung with their display of placemats.
Again, *THANK YOU* to those who attended my classes!! I hope to see you back in class for the upcoming season. I have lots of new classes in the works. More Silk Painting and Fabric Decoration, Precious Metal Clay, Soldering & of course Quilting. Sign up for my newsletter to find out about class schedules.
If you have not attended a class yet feel free to contact me with any questions you might have & I look forward to having you in class.
Have a wonderful week!
Looking forward to the next session! You certainly have me hooked! You are an awesome teacher, and a great inspiration.
AAWWW, thank you Tara!
