Paint Party Friday ~ Morning Pages

Just a quick post today for Paint Party Friday.
I told you in my last post about the morning pages I was doing, but instead of writing, it was an artful journal page in a sketchbook.
Here are a few from this week:
These are pretty quick to do and a relaxing way to start the day.
I don’t think about what I am going to paint before….i just paint!
I am using a portable watercolor set which makes it really quick. Β The brush has the water in it and the watercolors dry within minutes.
Don’t forget to go check out all the other Paint Party Friday posts!
Have a great weekend!

  1. ahhhh….sigh…..I really do enjoy your work – I wish you designed fabric – actually no I don't,, if you designed fabric i wouldn't be able to stop buying it! I will just have to keep admiring your blog – it is safer (and cheaper!)

  2. your work is fun – and your style is very happy! I love that- great idea to do illustrations/painting s for morning pages, too! Fun to be free with the paints! happy friday

  3. I love that you just go right in and start painting and whatever come, comes. I do that too. Portable watercolor set? Where did you buy that? Sounds interesting. I love the Home Tweet Home. Great job, soft colors, nice. Have a great weekend.

  5. Lovely colors you used on your morning pages! I don't use watercolors much but am thinking of pulling them out after seeing these.
